We are SPOMENIK, a 4 piece dream rock band from Chicago, formed in 2024. We combine elements of shoegaze, dream pop, psychedelic rock, and a dash of Slavic and Balkan influence, to bring something new to the table. Our main songwriter and lyricist, Ilija, who also does vocals and rhythm guitar, focuses on personal experiences and feelings, things that can hit close to home for anyone. Along with Jordan delivering smooth bass lines and synthesizer, A.J. throwing in melodic leads and fiery guitar solos, and Kelsey keeping it all together with eclectic, dynamic drums; SPOMENIK is the peoples' band.
